Unraveling the secrets of the Classic Rolled Memory Foam Mattress by Hyde & Sleep, a mattress brand that has positioned itself among the noteworthy contenders in the sleep industry, we venture into the details of the product and its benefits for consumers, ensuring you decide, armed with the most comprehensive information.
The Classic Rolled Memory Foam Mattress, with its firm comfort grade, is like a love letter to the back and stomach sleepers. It offers dedicated support to these positions while its unique Aurora® foam lends a cool, breathable experience throughout the night. But for side sleepers and those with curves in all the right places, that’s where the love affair might grow cold. The firmer composition may not offer the ideal level of sinkage necessary for contouring to hips and shoulders. However, for those who spend their night predominantly on their back, it's a match made in heaven.
The Classic Rolled Memory Foam Mattress pulls off a hat trick with its three well-coordinated layers of cushioning. Unlike your run-of-the-mill foam, the Aurora foam, with its open cell structure, allows for uninterrupted airflow resulting in a chill slumberfest. Sandwiched by a lightweight knitted cover and a profiled base foam, the mattress boasts of an enhanced ventilation system all while cradling your body in all the right places.
It seems the brand has managed to hit it off with those in search of a firm resting canvas. Users have rooted for its unique Aurora foam, appreciating its breathability and adaptive property. One user review goes on the lines of "This foam mattress offers great support at a great price. The Aurora foam is breathable, which creates a cooler sleep surface. It is also reactive, supporting your body throughout the night. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a firm mattress."
Brand new mattress and not quite sure how to make it last? It might seem like a Herculean task but with Hyde & Sleep’s Bedcover Service Plan, you can bid adieu to all the troubles. Not only does it cover the aesthetic appeal, but it also ensures the maintenance of comfort and performance up to 8 years.
Bringing it all together, the Hyde & Sleep Classic Rolled Memory Foam Mattress delivers an exceptional package with its firm orthopaedic support, three layers of cushioning featuring breathable Aurora® foam, an ultra-lightweight cover, and a profiled base foam to body support. It surrenders itself to you, ready to be tested for 100 nights, backed by a 5-year guarantee. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, especially for side sleepers and those with hourglass figures but it is a worthy candidate for those seeking firm back support.

We have took a deep dive into the specifications and customer reviews to bring the below dataset. Be advised that the modelling assumes average weight and so suitability may vary.
For back sleepers, the level of support a mattress provides is influenced by its firmness and the type of support layer used, with considerations tailored to those of an average build to ensure proper spinal alignment and comfort.
For side sleepers, it’s important to have a mattress with a supportive tension that strikes the right balance—neither too firm nor too soft. This ensures the hips and shoulders can sink adequately, promoting proper spinal alignment and overall comfort.
For stomach sleepers, a mattress should provide a firm and supportive base layer to offer adequate body contouring and prevent aches and pains. The level of support needed may vary depending on your body type and build.
Mattresses designed with breathable materials enhance airflow, allowing heat to dissipate and helping to regulate your body temperature throughout the night. This not only keeps you comfortable but also provides a hygienic sleeping environment.
Some materials, such as memory foam, can make it harder to move or reposition yourself as you sleep, due to their contouring nature. Similarly, pillow-top designs, while offering a plush feel, can reduce movement making turning more challenging.
Some mattresses, especially those made with memory foam or delivered as rolled bed-in-a-box options, may have a noticeable smell when first unpacked. This initial odour usually fades significantly within 24 hours as the materials air out.
In some mattresses, certain material compositions can lead to a longer-lasting odour that may persist beyond the typical airing-out period. This is more common in products with dense foams or certain adhesives, but proper ventilation can help reduce the scent over time.

Feels properly firm and supportive, and my back’s been a bit happier in the mornings since swapping to this. It sleeps cooler than I expected for memory foam and it puffed up fine after unrolling. A touch too firm if you like to sink in, but it does the job and seems good value so far.
Truly comfortable, with great orthopaedic support due to its firm comfort grade. Nice touch with the breathable Aurora® foam and it's convenient that it comes rolled.
I wanted to replace a previous foam mattress which had softened with age and found this one. Described as Firm on the website, and Very Firm on the packaging I find it a little soft and certainly softer than my previous Dreams foam mattress. I find it comfortable and sleep well on it, but sink a little deeper than I'd like. It flattens completely if I sit up to read etc. Its lighter weight than its predecessor, so easier to move. Great covering and handy handles underneath, but I'd prefer these on the sides. 8/10
Extremely comfortable and well worth the price! Very pleasantly surprised. Excellent quality roll out mattress.
