About the Dream Team Tadley 800 Pocket Memory Mattress
Last checked
Buyers looking at the Dream Team Tadley 800 Pocket Memory are looking at a comfort-led hybrid rather than a firm support mattress: an 800-pocket spring unit with memory foam above, polyester I-Fibre fillings and a soft-touch knitted SmartSilver cover. An 800-count pocket unit in a memory-foam mattress is conservative; compared with 1000-2000 pocket-sprung hybrids it gives individual spring movement, but not the fine-grained contouring or weight-difference handling of denser spring packs. The memory foam is the key comfort layer, so the first feel should be slow-response cushioning with some sink rather than the springy lift of an open-coil mattress. That matters. The I-Fibre polyester fill is being used as a breathable buffer and bulk layer, not as a natural-fibre comfort story, and that is an honest choice in this construction class when paired with foam. SmartSilver is a freshness treatment in the cover, useful as a hygiene claim, but not a substitute for good ventilation, a washable protector or regular rotation. In practical terms, the build aims to soften pressure at the shoulders and hips while the 800 pockets keep the surface more independent than a basic cage-sprung bed.
The strongest fit is likely to be someone who enjoys a cushioned, slightly enveloping surface and does not want the flatter feel of a firmer orthopaedic mattress. Positive owners repeatedly describe quick comfort, easier sleep and, in a few cases, improved back discomfort, which lines up with the pressure-relief promise of the memory-foam layer; couples also value the quieter, more settled feel expected from pocket springs rather than an open-coil unit. The warning is durability and support. A recurring complaint is that the mattress can feel pleasant at first but then soften, dip in the middle or leave sleepers with new aches, and one recent owner also flagged weak side support when sitting on the edge. Those owner experiences cut against the “tailored support” language: the spring format is right for independent support, but the 800-count core and foam comfort layer do not appear to deliver enough resistance for everyone, especially partners wanting a steadier surface or anyone already sensitive to sagging. Hot sleepers get a mixed picture: the spec includes breathable polyester fill and a knitted antimicrobial cover, yet memory foam is still the dominant comfort material, so the cooler claim deserves caution. The sensible buyer is a fan of cushioned memory-foam comfort with modest pocket-spring support; firmer edges, stronger lumbar resistance and better long-term shape holding point instead towards a firmer pocket-sprung mattress with a higher spring count or a more supportive hybrid tier.

Proper comfy and gives my back a bit more support than my old one, so Im sleeping better. Feels a tad softer than I thought but still decent for the money.
Finally found the right balance of comfort and support with this mattress. Managed to sleep soundly and wake up feeling refreshed.
Perfect mattress for my daughter..she loves it!
Very happy with bed frame and mattress. Delivery guys were on time and took them 10 minutes to put bed frame together. Recommend Dreams, good quality beds, compared to other bed stores online.
Everything is good, I am very happy
Probably the best nights sleep Ive ever had. Its like a luxury hotel but at home. Its even helped with my back problems.
This bed has been fantastic i am sleeping all night without waking up 4 or 5 times i have been through so many mattresses and this is by far the best one ever
This mattress is great value for money, its very comfortable, seems to be durable and well made and Ive had a good nights sleep every night since Ive had it. No bad back, no tossing and turning. And the delivery was just as good. I got to pick the day that suited me, driver gave me an estimated time the day before and then called to confirm and when they were close by! Im very happy overall.
Very comfortable, medium firm mattress. Good value for money too.
A very prompt and great experience buying the mattress and sleeping on it. We bought this for our teenage daughter and she absolutely is loving it and got settled in her new mattress quickly with a great night sleep.
Really good mattress for the price
As with all mattresses Ive bought, Ive gone into the closest store to try it out. Its always a bit anxiety-inducing to buy a new mattress based on a few minutes of in-store testing, but I found the staff very knowledgeable and helpful with my questions about the Tadley. With my current mattress causing me some lower back issues Im super happy to report that Ive had the new mattress for three weeks now and its transformed my sleep. Not only does the thin memory foam layer provide instant comfort, I now sleep through a full nights sleep instead of waking up to roll over and so on. Its also a supportive mattress without being too hard or too soft. Thanks, Dreams!!
Nice and comfy for my 11 year old daughter. We both had a good test of this when purchasing and thought it felt good. My daughter slept like a log on it so I guess thats a big thumbs up.
From the phone order to the great delivery guys has been perfect. Waited till I had few nights sleep on it before review and can say it's perfect and my back thanks me in the morning. Highly recommend Dreams and the Tadley Combination Mattress.
I purchased three of these mattresses for a holiday let property so cant say personally what its like to sleep on. That said it is a good quality mattress which is on the medium to firm side. Im told its very comfortable to sleep on.
Most comfortable, dreamworthy mattress.
I like this product. Is a nice mattress . more when I opened the mattress. (I removed the plastic and it had dirt stains on the side.)
