Firm support is the point here. The memory foam is there to take some edge off the tension, not to turn the surface into a slow-sinking, plush mattress, and that distinction shows up clearly in the feedback: happier buyers describe a firm bed with enough surface cushioning to ease backs and knees, while lower scores often expected more give from the foam. Compared with the 1000-pocket-plus tier, the Westland is less about fine pressure mapping and more about keeping the body held level. Proper firm and supportive, and my back feels better in the morning without that sinking feeling. A bit too hard at first but I got used to it and it seems good quality.

We desperately needed a new mattress, as our old one was making our backs ache! We bought this mattress based on the positive reviews - which we were a little apprehensive about, as we had not been into a store to try the mattress out. It was a good call! The mattress is great - and really good value for money. Weve noticed a huge difference. Admittedly, we also bought a nice new thick soft mattress topper, which adds to it, but the mattress itself is far more sturdy and comfortable. We just hope it stays that way and doesnt have a short life span. Were really happy and would highly recommend :)
The bed was delivered about a month ago and so far so good. My back and shoulders feel a lot better for it. (Had had my last bed for a number of years and badly needed an update). The only down side was that that the mattress took a whole 3 days to loose the smell after unwrapping and leaving it in a well ventilated room. Apart from that, great.
