About the Giovanna Dual Storage Corner Sofa Bed

Last checked

The Giovanna is doing two jobs before bedtime arrives. As a dual-storage corner sofa bed, its composition is more about room utility than traditional bed-frame engineering: a chaise-style corner seat for daytime use, hidden storage for bedding or household overflow, and a pull-out sleep function when the room needs to become an occasional guest space. The reversible layout is a useful detail in this construction class, because corner sofa beds can otherwise lock a room into one arrangement; being able to alter the chaise side gives it more flexibility than a fixed left- or right-hand chaise. Storage is the main structural win here. A dual-storage sofa bed is generous compared with a standard click-clack or armless futon, where the frame may convert quickly but usually gives up meaningful space for spare duvets, cushions and throws. The customer signal lines up with that: storage is repeatedly described as roomy, and assembly is treated as straightforward rather than a major obstacle. Fabric and finish also carry the product, with the soft feel, modern look and greige tone earning stronger praise than the sleep function. This is a living-room-first piece, not a disguised divan base, and that distinction matters when judging the build.

Households using a lounge, office or compact spare room as a flexible guest area are the natural audience for this sofa bed, especially where storage is as important as seating. Praise tends to cluster around the same things: it looks smart for the money, the fabric feels pleasant, stains appear manageable, and the storage swallows more than expected. The sofa mode lands better than the bed mode. Despite the sofa-bed label, repeated feedback says the opened surface does not feel like a full double, the centre join is noticeable, and one side can sit unevenly rather than forming a properly flat sleeping platform; that puts it below a dedicated guest bed frame or higher-spec sofa bed with a separate mattress for regular overnight use. Comfort also carries a durability question, because the lower-scoring feedback mentions a seat section dipping after only a few weeks of use, even under an average-weight adult, although it recovered by the next morning. For occasional single-guest use, storage-heavy living rooms and buyers who care most about appearance, the Giovanna fits the brief; couples expecting a flat double bed, or anyone planning frequent sleep use, are better served by the dedicated sofa-bed-with-separate-mattress category or a standard guest bed frame where space permits.

Modern sofa bed. Plenty of storage. Simple to assemble. Happy with the product so far but haven't slept on it yet. Good value for the price. Would recommend.

We have been using the sofa for almost a month now, it looks nice and stylish, fabric is soft. Lots of storage space which is much needed for us. However when opened, it does not become a double bed, it's smaller and one side of the bed will not be flat so do not expect it to be super comfortable. Also in 1 month, the part my husband usually sits sank a little bit. It comes back to normal by morning but I am hoping it will not sink more in time (my husband is average in terms of weight so it's not that). Otherwise, all good.

The design and material are good. If you try to use it as bed it's very annoying the middle line in the bed. If you use it as a sofa only its worth it to buy it!

Fantastic sofa, love the colour and finish. The reversible aspect of the sofa is fab and future proof as you can change it to suit your room layout very easily! The storage is also a bonus. Would definitely recommend.
