About the Sealy Elevate Ultra Antuco Mattress
Last checked
Side-sleeper comfort is the clearest intention behind the Sealy Elevate Ultra Antuco: a coil-based Posturepedic support system carries the body, while MemoryFlex, MemorySense and InfiniLux foams add the pressure-relief layer above it. The feel is medium, 3 out of 5, but this is not a soft, slow-sinking memory-foam mattress; the foams are there to cushion shoulders and hips while the AlignSupport coils keep the sleep surface more upright. This is support-led comfort, not sink. The practical spec call is that Sealy has put more emphasis on controlled support and edge structure than on a loose pillow-top feel, with the UniCased XT border doing useful work for anyone who sits on the edge or sleeps close to it. Against standard open-coil mattresses, that reinforced perimeter is a meaningful upgrade because it increases usable width and reduces the roll-off sensation, while the proprietary foam stack is more typical of a premium hybrid-style build than a budget sprung mattress. SmarTex Plus, Tencel fibres and ProShield anti-allergy treatment add the climate and hygiene story, though the real-world effect is likely to be surface freshness and moisture movement rather than an actively cold mattress.
The reinforced edge casing is also where the Antuco’s suitability becomes clearer: couples and back-pain-prone sleepers often respond well to a mattress that stays level at the sides and does not collapse when getting in and out of bed. Praise tends to centre on support, reduced morning aches and a cooler-feeling sleep surface, which lines up with the coil-and-foam construction and the moisture-managing cover rather than contradicting it. The lived feel leans firmer. Several poor ratings describe the mattress as firmer than expected, with side sleepers of lighter build in particular struggling to get enough hip sink, so the medium label should not be read as plush; average-weight side sleepers are the safer match, while back sleepers may like the support but could still prefer a slightly firmer tension if they want a flatter, less contoured feel. The other repeated snag is practical rather than comfort-based: paired with a motion base, the mattress can feel awkward, either because the combination is harder to dress or because the mattress does not articulate as freely as expected. Its depth and weight also crop up as handling issues, with extra-deep sheets and two-person rotation sounding sensible. If the buyer wants a supportive, cooler-feeling medium mattress with strong edges for side sleeping, this works. If the buyer needs a softer cradle or dependable flexibility on an adjustable base, a plusher memory-foam hybrid or dedicated adjustable-bed mattress tier makes more sense.

Picked this up a few weeks ago and its comfy without being too soft, plus it stays fairly cool at night. Bit pricey though, so Id only say its worth it if you really care about your sleep.
Good mattress. Provides comfort and support as described, no more sleepless nights.
Extremely comfortable, can feel yourself moulding into the mattress as get comfortable. Framed edges of mattress make it easy to sit on the side of the bed and easy to get in and out off.
Sheer perfection in all respects. The right degree of softness coupled with the right degree of support.
Very pleased with my new mattress from dreams, excellent quality and price, matched with their customer service. I will be returning again and recommend to others.
Very happy with this Mattress, initially we went for the Original Tempur but we found it to be too hot so we switched to this mattress and couldn't be happy. Very comfy and for me and the wife. Great service from start to finish from Dreams.
It is not for me. I find it comfortable but too high. It was difficult for me getting in and out of bed as a result.
Settling in nicely- comfortable and as we expected
From purchase to installation Excellent in all aspects
This mattress has a medium comfort grade, providing that extra comfort and luxurious feeling whilst still offering deep support and pressure relief for your body. The firm wall around the edge of the mattress is great as it prevents that roll-off feeling whilst also allowing you to sit comfortably on the edge of the bed without dipping. The SmarTex® fabric helps to draw moisture away from your body so that you can have a cool nights sleep.
You will have the best nights sleep you have ever had. Total bliss. No more nightmares, just sweet dreams from now on.
The whole purchasing experience with Dreams was excellent. Nicole (Leeds branch) was really helpful and answered all our questions and provided advice on what to consider when buying our mattress. We took time and checked various mattresses to find the one that would best suit our needs, and Sealy Elevate Ultra Antuco ticked all the boxes (high quality, durable, comfortable).
Had the Sealy mattress for a month now and really loving it, it's so comfortable, for both my wife and myself. I would thoroughly recommend this mattress.
Went in to buy a sleep motion base and this mattress was on it. I didnt eant to get off it,was super comfortable. Really helps if you suffer from chronic pain and back trouble. Bit over priced but no more sore backs.
Very well recommend especially for anyone with stomach acid reflux of any kind
I've always had Sealy mattresses and this one is the best one by far. I've had this mattress for about a month now and it is very comfortable and offers a great nights sleep. Highly recommended.
The mattress I purchase is very comfortable and helps me to sleep better now. I recommend visiting Dreams to obtain a good quality mattress.
Its like sleeping on clouds, soft and comfy yet supportive. Expensive but worth it. Since we got this mattress, sleeping tight and calm, supported and held in place. Really great mattress.
