About the Silentnight Hotel Collection 105 Tog Duvet
Last checked
Buyers wanting one duvet for most of the year are the obvious audience for the Silentnight Hotel Collection 10.5 Tog Duvet. It is a fibre-filled duvet with a soft, embossed check cover, a hypoallergenic finish and machine-washable care, positioned as a hotel-style option rather than a specialist temperature-regulating or natural-fill duvet. The 10.5 tog rating is the key practical spec here: in UK bedding terms it sits in the all-season bracket, warmer than a 4.5 or 7 tog summer duvet but below the thick, heat-retaining feel of a 13.5 tog winter duvet. Honest all-season warmth, not deep-winter insulation. The construction looks conventional for a synthetic duvet, with comfort coming from lofted fibre and cover softness rather than down clusters, wool moisture management or a boxed premium fill system. The hypoallergenic claim is useful for anyone avoiding feather or down, though it should be read as a lower-irritation bedding choice, not as the same thing as a medical-grade allergy barrier. The decorative embossed cover is the more distinctive part of the spec; compared with plain hollowfibre duvets, it gives a smarter handle and finish, but it does not change the basic breathability limits of a mid-tog synthetic duvet.
The 10.5 tog build suits sleepers who want noticeable cosiness without the weight and bulk of a winter duvet. Warmth without heaviness is the repeated positive: it is often described as cosy, comfortable and easy to settle under, and the better feedback links directly to the spec because a mid-tog fibre duvet should feel warmer than summer bedding while still manageable in changeable British weather. The cover also comes out well, with soft fabric, decent weight and a low-rustle feel mentioned more than once, and one longer-use comment says the filling stayed evenly spread, fitted into a cover cleanly and held its shape after washing. Size and drape are the main cautions. A less satisfied super-king buyer found it sat on top of the bed rather than wrapping softly around the body, which jars with the soft-and-silky description, and another lower-scored comment points to sizing up as a way to avoid duvet tugging between two sleepers. That makes the biggest sizes the riskier end of the range if a very fluid, mouldable duvet is the priority. The Silentnight Hotel Collection 10.5 Tog Duvet suits cooler sleepers after an easy-care, hypoallergenic all-season duvet; those prioritising close drape, natural breathability or winter-level insulation should look instead at a premium down, wool or 13.5 tog winter tier.

This duvet has a lush, boutique-style feel that elevated my sleep to the next level. The hypoallergenic features are a true relief, resulting in zero irritations overnight.
Great quality duvet with a lovely plush layer that fits the bed perfectly to transform Any bed for a great nights sleep
One of the comfiest duvets I have used
This duvet is probably the best all rounder, not too heavy and in thus heat has been keeping me cool, but i can definitely tell its warm enough for the winter
Perfect for me, great product
Good duvet. Fair price. z
They are the best quality that's why I gave them a very good rateing
This duvet is extremely comfortable and great quality. At 10.5 tog, its a great duvet for use during the slightly warmer months, but is also a good option during winter months for people who run a little warmer like me.
A great compliment to the Tempur mattress, temperature is perfect and it is extremely comfortable. I suppose the best thing to say is that we really enjoy a lazy morning in bed now, whereas before it was ‘up & out
Looks classy with the hotel style stripes and the filling is evenly distributed. Nice and warm for late winter, early spring
This luxurious duvet has such a soft cover its sure to keep you cosy in the winter months.
Its nice to be able to go into store and feel and see the quality of this product. It sits well and would complement any bed.
Thickness of the duvet is obviously down to personal preference but purchasing in store with a salesperson happy and willing to give us time to explore all options really helped us decide. We also went for a duvet the size up from our mattress which has really lessened the anger produced from the great quilt stealing debate
Good quality, weight and material. Very pleased we took this option.
Very warm, light and soft duvet. I am happy with it.
Perfect weight, super cosy. Can't ask for anything more!
The duvet is super plump and feels luxurious. The samples in store dont do it justice.
Very nice and warm, keeps its plumpness even after using overnight. Easy to use. Not washed yet as it is only two weeks old.
Genuinely feels like a hotel duvet. So so warm, maybe too warm for summer but perfect for autumn and winter
I am very pleased with all of the products i purchased from you. The bed is very comfortable and the under beds storage is very useful. The 10.5 tog rating ensures that I am quite warm at night. The delivery and assembly was done efficiently by your team who arrived earlier than expected.
