I purchased 2 of these ottoman bases, one for the spare room and the other to replace a clapped out old ottoman that was around 17 years old. The difference is phenominal, it's easy to open and has tons of storage space. It feels very study, and with a new thicker mattress, I feel like I'm sleeping on a cloud or a princess bed. Would recommend.
