About the Dunlopillo® Super Comfort Pillow
Last checked
For shoppers considering a £100-plus pillow, the Dunlopillo® Super Comfort Pillow sits in the premium everyday-pillow bracket rather than the cheap spare-room end of bedding. This is a premium bed pillow. The supplied product sheet gives very little construction detail, so the composition story is lean for the money: there is no meaningful fill weight, loft depth, cover fabric or wash-care detail to weigh against the price being discussed in customer feedback. Compared with adjustable microfibre pillows, contoured memory-foam pillows or the more technical end of the latex-pillow tier, that leaves the buying decision resting heavily on Dunlopillo’s support reputation and the “Super Comfort” positioning rather than on a transparent spec. The repeated positive language is still useful, because the pillow is often described as soft at the surface while giving definite neck support, and a smaller but consistent thread mentions it staying cool and holding its shape. Day to day, that points to a pillow aimed at resilient support rather than loose, plumpable softness, but the absence of clear loft and fill data makes it harder to predict fit before ownership.
Neck-support seekers are the natural audience here, especially back or side sleepers who prefer a pillow that pushes back rather than collapses quickly under the head. Height is the fault line. Praise tends to focus on comfort, coolness, shape retention and relief for sensitive necks, with one of the more detailed positive experiences saying the pillow took only a short settling-in period before becoming dependable. The lower scores tell a much less tidy story: the repeated pain points are that the pillow can feel too solid, too high, or simply unlike an older Dunlopillo it was bought to replace, and neck ache appears often enough to treat it as a real risk rather than a one-off mismatch. There is also frustration around opened-pillow returns, which matters more at this price because a poor loft match leaves an expensive item unused. The contradiction is clear: the Super Comfort name and stronger feedback suggest soft support, while dissatisfied customers describe a pillow that can put the neck into an awkward position or feel flatter than expected compared with previous versions. It suits someone who already likes a firmer, supportive Dunlopillo feel and wants a premium pillow for regular use; stomach sleepers, low-loft fans and anyone who needs adjustability are safer comparing adjustable-fill pillows or lower-profile specialist pillow designs.

just as it says on the packet , very comfy exactly as we tried in the shop
Very comfortable. The pillow keeps its shape. Am delighted with my purchase and I would recommend it
Nice and soft, no difference to sleeping Certainly deeper than most pillows.
Excellent pillow, has really helped with neck pain.
Excellent pillow. The shape is so nice and keeps cool all through the night.
Very comfy…….. although was more expensive when bought with the bed than if I'd got it online from Bensons
Brilliant pillows, bought the same ones a few years ago and pleased with them, so delighted when we saw they were at Bensons. Quite expensive compared to others, but worth every penny, you can't put a price on a good night's sleep.
Tried these pillows when looking for a matress and was so impressed we bought 2. As a side sleeper who also sleeps on their back I have found the pillow to be high enough and firm enough to no longer cause neck ache. No more plumping and faffing during the night. Hopefully this will last long term too.
So far this is a superb pillow, soft yet supporting my neck perfectly.
Great sleeping well gives support where needed Comfortable and prevents over use of other pillows
Excellent quality, possibly a little too firm for my liking, I've got use to it now.
My husband did not like the pillow at first, but after few nights said that he is happy. It is a good pillow and keeps a shape after he left a bed. I would recommend to a friend.
Best pillow I have had my husband never nostisers I am still up at night as he is sleeping better than before and me to
Excellent pillow very supportive had a few weeks now and it has no sagging expensive but worth it
I was really reluctant to replace my old dunlopillows because structurally they were sound but I'm fairly sure they were a biohazard. They were over 30 years old. So a testament to a good quality brand. Bought a new one and initially I didn't like it as it had a slightly crispy texture and was loud to lie on but that was actually just the removal cover. I took it off and washed it once and now it's unreal. I absolutely love it. I'm obsessed.
Previous pillow was just too firm, had a Dunlopillo years ago and wish I'd never gone to different make. This pillow is so comfortable, you just sink in. Staying with what I know and love!
Excellent excellent excellent excellent excellent and excellent
Great pillow perfect this is a spare one for my caravan and is just right
My son is very happy with this pillow. It is very comfortable and had retained it's shape well.
Fantastic pillow i have been having neck pain and headache for weeks but got this pillow Sunday and now its all gone :)
