About the Yokohama Upholstered Ottoman TV Bed Frame
Last checked
A velvet-finish upholstered frame with a 4K LG smart TV, 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos audio, media tray and side-opening ottoman sits in a very different lane from a standard storage bed. The tech is the structure here. For the near-£3,000 bracket buyers mention, the velvet-touch finish and integrated television are expected for a premium TV bed, while the Atmos speaker layout is unusually ambitious against ordinary TV ottomans, where the frame often adds a screen but leaves serious sound to a separate soundbar. The storage arrangement is more useful than drawer storage in tight rooms because it opens from the side and uses the footprint under the mattress, although the same arrangement asks more of the lift mechanism than a fixed platform or a simple divan drawer base. A media tray gives the consoles, remotes and streaming kit somewhere to live, and detailed feedback points to a supported ottoman floor rather than the thin rail-and-fabric base often seen on cheaper flat-pack ottomans. That is a credible build signal. Access is the awkward part: a bulky upholstered TV frame with integrated electronics is less forgiving on stair turns and fitted-wardrobe gaps than a plain bedstead, and failed delivery due to awkward stairs appears more than once in the low-score sample.
Night-time viewing is the reason to choose this frame, not space-saving alone. It suits a main bedroom where the bed can act as cinema furniture as well as storage, especially for couples who want the TV, speakers, charging ports and hidden media space contained in one upholstered centrepiece rather than spread across wall mounts, cables and separate cabinets. Praise clusters around the look of the frame, the sense that it feels substantial, the quality of the TV experience and the depth of the ottoman; sleep-and-entertainment use is the repeated positive pattern, and the solid storage base matches the comments about suitcases and heavier items fitting underneath. The mechanism is where confidence drops. The ottoman is heavy to lift, particularly with a large frame and deep mattress, and more than one complaint concerns broken straps, a failed TV lift or a mechanism issue needing resolution; the Dolby Atmos claim also outruns some expectations, with dialogue clarity and surround effect described as short of a separate Atmos soundbar. USB-A charging and fiddly extra connections make the tech feel less current than the headline spec suggests. Style-led boxset households get the most out of this. Value-led buyers and anyone needing effortless daily storage get too little for the money - a simpler ottoman frame with separate AV equipment serves better.

Really struck by the level of convenience this bed offers, from the built-in TV to the integrated Dolby Atmos speakers. The design is elegant and the functionality is truly seamless. Even has an ottoman for extra storage - what's not to love here
We have been after a tv bed for years but could not find the right one. We have know and it is amazing.
Finally got our hands on a TV bed and its absolutely wonderful. Surround sound, USB points & Speakers in the headboard and VERY, VERY comfortable. Thryve thought of everything even a section undernath for set top box/DVD player etc.
This really is the most premium bed you can find! It is sturdy and well built, looks and feels very luxurious. The ottoman style base provides a lot of storage underneath and the TV element has meant that it is kept hidden when not in use as we feel a TV ruins the design of the bedroom. I would recommended paying that little bit extra to get the delivery men to assemble the bed for you as it is extremely heavy, to a point we cannot move it on our own. We did have some issued with a part for the TV but this was fixed very quickly. We also had an issue with the position of the bed and due to it being so heavy we werent able to move - dreams kindly organised for another delivery crew to attend and help get the bed in thr desired location. We honestly have no complaints about this bed, its amazing!
Would have given 5 stars, however the lid where the tv goes was slightly damaged. Contacted Dreams who said the manufacturer would be in contact to arrange replacement. No contact made, just a spare lid delivered for us to swap out
After the initial problems with this bed (as a result of delivery men not workmanship or dreams) I am incredibly impressed with this bed and treated myself for my 30th birthday as I'm now getting old I need to sleep well! The TV in the living room has barely been switched on since this arrived, it's sleek, gorgeous, excellent quality and build and you can really tell its the Ferrari of TV beds for sure, the price definitely reflects the quality of this and with the built in speakers and surround sound it's just a no brainier, may I add even the music on full sounds like I've bought a sound system too it's incredible. I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this and it's one of the best purchases I have made, if your thinking about buying it THEN DO! Oh and to add it took my handy DIY husband about 1.5h all together to build, while I watched.
I absolutely love my new bed and it was well the money the surround system is amazing and the build quality is fantastic and makes a statement.. just love it that much
Title: Luxurious Entertainment: Yokohama Velvet-Finish Dolby Atmos TV Bed The Yokohama Velvet-Finish Ottoman Dolby Atmos TV Bed redefines luxury entertainment. With its elegant design, integrated Dolby Atmos speakers, and built-in TV, it combines style and functionality seamlessly. Say hello to convenience and goodbye to clutter with this ultimate in-home entertainment solution.
Very good quality and comfortable
Absolutely love the bed, its stunning and finishes the room perfectly! The sound system is very loud and youd never be able to watch a film if children were asleep in other rooms, good job it can be turned off which defeats the design of the bed. The material on the foot board seems to have a scratch in it. But be mindful of the build, we paid for it to be built but the fitters informed us theyd only ever built 2 of these beds, and they managed to break the tv by trapping one of the wires under the bed, dislodging the hdmi port and knocking the tv shelf off balance. Have to wait 6 weeks for a new foot board & tv - another day off work while waiting for a delivery! Customer services have given us £100 back, doesnt cover the wages list from 2 days lost work and the inconvenience of clearing the room again to have the bed rebuilt!
Wow, can honestly say, my Yokohama TV bed. is the best investment i have ever bought. Top quality. like being at the cinema, but in your own bedroom. love it.
Beautiful bed lots of storage space underneath, we love it it looks great
Could not be happier with our new bed! Spacious, luxurious and comfy, and the sound and picture quality from the TV is better than the one in our living room!
Beautiful bed - very luxurious finish headboard plush with elegant design
Bed is amazing and so sturdy! Love the surround sound, feels like Im in the movie
We have had this bed for a month or so now and I will sum up our experiences below: 1. We have owned other TV beds before and this is by far the best. 2. The bed itself is well made and looks great. We also bought a tempura mattress on it and would never go back. 3. The extra storage is great. 4. Wish there were bigger TV options. Even an option with no TV would be nice. 5. OLED was an expensive upgrade for what is now an old model. Although the LG OLED is a great TV. 6. The bed has a solid floor, this is a good and bad. Routing cables under the floor is a nightmare. But once done its all hidden. 7. We bought the super king and tempura mattress. This makes the otterman very heavy to lift and the canvas straps to lift it have already broken (Dreams have sent replacements). 8. The speakers are good for a TV bed however they are not great considering this is sold as a Dolby atmos system. If you have a Dolby Atmos sound bar and are expecting the same results you may be disappointed. This is a real shame as I feel with the sound bar and rear speakers this could have been great if they had teamed up with a better manufacturer. 9. The speakers can be glitchy with sound not syncing properly and speech being too quiet; sometimes enabling and disabling atmos fixes this. 10. When the Tv is on at a decent volume the back speakers crackle. 11. We have been through 2 Tv bases due to defects. 12. I have raise all issues with Dreams bar sound issues. Dreams have been very good at responding and sorting out the issues bar same logistical problems. So I cant fault them in trying to sort things out. To sum up I really like the bed, but the cost and the sound issues (I personally dont think these can be fixed as I believe this issue are an inherent part of the type of sound bar used) I probably wouldnt recommend it.
Bed itself is nice but it has a few big issues. Positives; Looks good and feels very nice. We got the 200U&I adjustable bed which is very nice. We upgraded to LG42OLED which is a great TV but the we could have got the TV separately for the same price as the upgrade and still kept the base TV. Negatives; It looks like it has nowhere to put the power cable under the frame so the frame is sitting on the cable which is worrying. The installers had never built one so now I have an extension cable sitting outside the frame (trip hazard for the wife) at the side of the bed - we are going to have to enlist friends as we will have to try and take apart and redo . Surround sound sounds great when it works properly but it is constantly going out of sync with the image. It is difficult to find sheets to fit it.
The bed is insane! Love it, perfect for storage and size. We got the super king cause why not. The telly is so efficient and the bed is also easy to put together.
This bed frame comes in a stylish velvet-touch fabric which would match any colour scheme due to the versatile, neutral grey tone. It features a side opening ottoman storage area with plenty of space for bedding or loose belongings as well as an additional hidden storage space, which is very handy for storing media boxes or consoles. TV beds are great if you are short on space or just want to add a touch of techy style to your bedroom, especially as it comes with a 43 inch Smart TV as standard, with option to upgrade!
This a premium bed that myself and my wife have longed for and its serving us during sleep and entertainment times.
