About the Foley Sleepmotion Adjustable TV Bed Frame
Last checked
Bedtime viewing is part of the structure here, not an add-on: the Foley combines an upholstered bed frame, a high winged headboard, a foot-end TV compartment for an LG Smart TV, and Dreams’ Sleepmotion adjustable base beneath the mattress. The velvet finish sets the tone. This is a leisure-led adjustable bed rather than a conventional upholstered bedstead, and the meaningful spec call is the motorised base: compared with fixed slatted TV beds, it has to raise the back and feet, hold lounging positions and manage the TV mechanism within the same large frame. That makes the build more complex than a standard divan or ottoman, even before optional upgrades such as massage or Zero Gravity functions are factored in. The LG branding is a credible inclusion for this category, where cheaper TV beds can feel more about the footboard gimmick than the viewing hardware, but the cost of that specification is bulk, cabling and more moving parts. The winged headboard gives it a boutique-hotel look rather than a medical-adjustable one, though the overall footprint will read as substantial furniture in a normal bedroom, especially because the foot end has to house and lift the screen cleanly.
Sleepmotion is the feature that defines who this bed suits, especially for people who spend time sitting up in bed or need help finding a supported resting position. Pain relief is the strongest repeated signal: people dealing with back operations, arthritis and cerebral palsy describe the raised-head, Zero Gravity and split-mattress arrangements as making rest easier, while general comfort and the cinema-like screen come up often enough to feel central rather than decorative. The split-base arrangement, where chosen, is particularly useful for couples wanting different positions, and the soft upholstered styling helps it avoid the clinical look associated with some specialist mobility frames. It is a substantial piece of furniture. Criticism centres on everyday handling: the TV and Sleepmotion movements can feel slow, the frame is very heavy once installed, access beneath or behind it is limited, and one buyer was caught out by needing an indoor aerial for TV reception. The massage function also runs on a 30-minute limit, so it behaves more like a timed relaxation extra than a continuous massage system. It lands well in a spacious main bedroom where adjustable support and built-in viewing justify the bulk; frequent room re-arrangers, storage-hungry households or anyone wanting a simpler low-maintenance frame should consider a conventional upholstered bedstead, an ottoman frame or a specialist adjustable base without TV hardware.
Pros and Cons
Pros

- Customers report impressive convenience with the remote-controlled adjustable base.

- Many users appreciate how easy it is to clean and maintain the frame.
Cons
- Several customers mention the bed frame feels less sturdy than expected.
- Reviewers report the Sleepmotion adjustment moves slower than preferred.
- Some owners note the bed's heavy weight complicates movement after installation.
- Users want a continuous massage function, as the current setting only lasts 30 minutes.

Fabulous buy, what a luxury having a smart TV in bed. The velvet fabric gives it that extra touch of elegance, and the adjustability makes it perfect for comfort.
amazing bed! Love the zero gravity feature. It's been such a help to my partner with cerebral palsy. The large TV is like being in the cinema !
Best sleep I have had in years. I suffer from sleep apnea so the store Manager suggested a sleep motion bed. Thank you Adam you certainly know your stuff!
Very responsive, informed a d helpful staff.
The store staff were amazing, was going to buy a king size version, but after costing up the mattress and the bed, we found that the split base was significantly cheaper, so got the super king and its an amazing bed. Ultra comfortable with the split mattresses, effortless to clean and easy to adjust so we can sit up in bed and watch TV. Hooked the PS5 up to the tv via a long HDMI cable which was easy to do.
Really helpful staff in the Doncaster store, we have the sleep motion frame which works perfect

Lovey bed very comfortable motion bed is fabulous
The best investment I've ever made and one I wish I'd made sooner. With the tempur mattress and the adjustable position I am now sleeping better than I have my whole adult life. The TV is an added luxury.
Great bed had meany operations on my back so have had meany beds this is the best just didnt think I would have needed a indoor tv aerial for the tv so thats not great
When purchasing the Foley adjustable bed I thought I may have over spent but what an absolute game changer! As I suffer with crippling arthritis I no longer wake up, for whatever reason, with shoulder pain in the middle of the night having the bed head raised slightly. For the days when I have to stay in bed longer the automatic tv at the bottom of the bed is a welcome distraction. The Foley adjustamatic bed is visually stylish, which is key for me being young(ish) and not wanting a bed to look like a hospital disabled bed whilst adressing my disable needs. Really pleased with this purchase and would 100% recommend
When I went bed shopping I was looking for a standard, run of the mill divan. Possibly with storage. Then I tried THIS bed and oh my word am I glad I did! The luxury of having an adjustable bed and a TV without the bank breaking price. Beautiful! The frame does take up more space than a standard divan bed so check the measurements before buying.
