About the eve pure memory REFURBISHED mattress
Last checked
Memory foam is the defining construction here, so the eve pure memory REFURBISHED mattress should be read as an all-foam pressure-relief mattress rather than a spring-led support unit. Refurbished status changes the value equation. The interesting spec call is not a high spring count or a complex layer stack, but the combination of a memory-foam feel with a lower-cost refurbished route; against pocket-sprung hybrids, that is a conservative construction choice, trading bounce, airflow and perimeter reinforcement for contouring, stillness and a softer landing under the shoulders and hips. Firmness reads from the feedback as firm-to-medium-firm with a cushioned top feel, which is a common memory-foam compromise: the surface gives slightly, then the foam underneath holds the body more evenly than an open-coil mattress would. The word “pure” also needs practical translation. In real bedrooms it means slower response and very low movement transfer, not a lively or springy feel, so changing position can feel more deliberate than on a hybrid. The refurbished angle is unusual in this category because it makes the mattress more of a value buy than a spec-led premium buy, especially when one buyer described the condition as effectively new despite paying much less.
All-foam memory construction suits sleepers who want a calmer, firmer-feeling bed with cushioning rather than bounce, and the strongest repeated praise is for comfort: sleep feels well supported without the surface becoming hard or unforgiving. Couples get one of the clearer benefits, because movement is reported as well controlled when one person turns or gets out of bed, which matches what memory foam normally does better than open-coil and many traditional sprung mattresses. Heat is the clearest caution. Even favourable feedback flags the mattress running very warm in summer, and that sits with the material choice: memory foam hugs the body and usually ventilates less freely than pocket-sprung hybrids with wool, cotton or open comfort layers. Side sleepers who like a cushioned shoulder should fare better than those wanting a buoyant, easy-turn surface, while heavier sleepers or edge-sitters may find a spring-led build more reassuring over time because foam alone does not give the same structural pushback at the perimeter. The refurbished condition appears to be a plus when it arrives looking fresh, but the available sentiment is strongest on comfort and value rather than long-term durability. For value-focused sleepers who like a firm foam feel and low partner disturbance, this is the right call. For hot sleepers or anyone wanting stronger edge support, look at pocket-sprung hybrids with breathable comfort layers instead.

Easy care – no turn mattress
A single-sided mattress refers to a type of mattress that is designed to be used only on one side. Unlike traditional double-sided mattresses that require flipping to maintain their shape and prolong their lifespan, single-sided mattresses are constructed to be used on a specific side only, usually the top side.
Made in the UK - exclusively for Bensons for Beds
Factory assembly closer to the warehouse can reduce cross-border freight handovers before the mattress reaches your room, and any faults sit under UK sale-of-goods rules. Direct like-for-like price checks will be harder.
Manufactured in a BSI Kitemark™ accredited factory -quality assured
Factory checks mean the mattress should have documented build controls and inspection steps, giving you a clearer route for fault claims when stitching or foam layers fail. They don't prove it will suit you overnight.
Award winning* cool to touch 3Dair fabric - helps reduce body temperature, key to drifting off sooner and sleeping cooler throughout the night
Open weave cover fabric lets warm air move away from your skin, because trapped warmth is what often turns the surface clammy as you settle. Heat control will fade under thick protectors or heavy duvets.
10cm SuperFLEX core support –super resilient and maintains its shape for long-lasting performance and stability
Dense foam base resists sagging, giving your back a steadier feel overnight. Because it's buried below the softer layers, it won't create a cushioned feel by itself for side sleepers who need more give.
Free 1 year guarantee – for peace of mind
A free 1-year guarantee provides confidence in the product's quality and durability. It ensures that any manufacturing defects or issues can be addressed without additional cost within the first year.
Mattress height – 25cm
Low bed frames gain a more usable sleeping surface, because the mattress adds lift while keeping the bed from towering over the room. Shallow fitted sheets may ping off after adding a topper.
6cm Kontur™ memory foam with graphite particles -actively cooling and breathable for awesome pressure relieving support
Graphite flecks move warmth away from the foam surface, and the 6cm slow-sinking layer lets sharper contact points settle with less bite. Heat-sensitive sleepers may prefer springs or latex.
Deep cleaned then sterilised using UV light – to hospital standards of cleanliness
Surface fabric is treated before resale, reducing the previous owner's skin debris and microbes you might otherwise inherit. Treatment won't remove wear, dips or odours held deeper inside.
Washable zip-off top cover–always sleep fresh with this removable cover, washable (up to 40°C)
Spills and sweat can be stripped away with the removable sleep-surface panel, leaving the bed fresher under your sheet after a wash at 40°C or below. Drying time is the catch.
9cm super-responsive memory foam - for individual comfort and personalised support, adapts perfectly to your body contours and movement
9cm foam warms under pressure, moulding around shoulders and hips for closer cushioning as you change position overnight. Hot sleepers may prefer a cooler, spring-led build.
Hand inspected using our 22 point quality check – to make sure it’s as good as new
Cover, edges and seams are checked before resale, leaving fewer obvious marks for you to find on arrival. It can't prove the inner foam is unworn.

Mattress is super comfortable and excellent quality. Mattress does get really hot especially due to summer conditions.
Love my new memory foam mattress. Bought it to replace my old one. Did try a different mattress first from another supplier but it was terribly uncomfortable. Managed to get a full refund for that and then purchased this and I'm really happy with it. Would highly recommend buying this I got it for half price as I bought a refurbished one. I'd say it was brand new, you certainly wouldn't know the difference.
Very comfortable bed and my partner likes that it doesn't have any movement when I get out of bed or move in the night . My partner has disabilities so likes a firmer bed but it's a hybrid of a firm and medium firm which is perfect not too hard but not too soft we tested many many beds in different stores then found this.
