We visited a showroom in Edinburgh to let our 4-year-old see the beds and bounce on the mattresses. The staff were very helpful but not pushy or in-your-face, just right. We bought our daughter's choice of mattress and she loves it. It's soft, comfortable and bouncy. I wouldn't choose such a soft one for myself but it's perfect for a preschooler.
