About the Yokohama Ergomotion Adjustable Velvet-Finish Dolby Atmos LG TV Bed Frame
Last checked
A buyer choosing the Yokohama is paying for an upholstered entertainment frame, not just a place to support a mattress. This is a technology bed first. The grey velvet-touch finish puts it in the soft, lounge-style end of TV-bed design, while the built-in 43-inch 4K Smart TV and 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos system make the footboard and frame part of the AV set-up rather than decorative casing. The important construction call is the base: the Ergomotion adjustable platform replaces conventional slats, so support comes from a moving mechanism with head-to-toe adjustment, zero-gravity positioning on the Elite version, massage, USB-A and USB-C charging and under-bed lighting. Against ordinary upholstered TV beds, that is a generous specification; the practical trade-off is extra mechanical complexity and a frame chosen around posture control and viewing rather than drawer capacity or simple lift-up storage. The Smart version pushes further into connected-bed territory with anti-snore, sleep tracking and quieter motor claims, which is unusual even among premium TV beds, but those features depend on sensors and software as much as frame build.
People who treat the bedroom as a second living room are the clearest fit, especially where an integrated TV reduces the need for a separate screen, bracket or media unit. The praise is strongest around evening use. The velvet-touch grey finish is repeatedly described as plush rather than cheap, and the TV lift, speakers and adjustable base are the parts that make the bed feel indulgent in day-to-day use; that matches the spec, because the build is centred on viewing comfort as much as mattress support. A flexible, adjustable-compatible mattress will make more sense here than a very rigid deep mattress, because the Ergomotion base needs the sleep surface to bend cleanly with the moving sections. Lower-scored feedback centres less on comfort and more on execution: the Smart base is sold around sleep tracking and anti-snore automation, yet one detailed complaint says tracking stopped after the first night and the anti-snore function failed despite the app still controlling movement, while another mentions slower-than-promised delivery. The Yokohama suits boxset-heavy bedrooms wanting integrated viewing, plush styling and powered position changes; those prioritising dependable health-tech features, storage or low-maintenance mechanics should look instead at simpler upholstered TV beds or non-tech ottoman frames.

Lovely bit of kit, the velvety finish feels quite posh and the TV lift and speakers make bedtime telly a proper treat. Took a little longer to turn up than promised, but once it was in place its been comfortable and easy enough to use.
The velvet finish adds an upscale feel while the in-built TV is a fantastic feature. Adjustability makes it very comfortable, love it.
This bed frame comes in a stylish soft-touch fabric, the neutral grey tone colour is perfect for any rooms décor. TV beds are great if you are short on space or just want to add a touch of techy style to your bedroom, especially as it comes with a 43 inch Smart TV as standard, along with the Ergomotion adjustable base for the ultimate level of comfort. Awesome bed!
Bed on the whole is good. The only thing that lets it down is the stat tracking and anti-snore doesn't work. It tracked the 1st night but has never worked since. Bed is connected correctly and you can adjust everything via the app, it just doesn't track anything or automatically raise you if you are snoring. Disappointing considering the price.
Very nice bed, I recommend it!
Fantastic customer service and fantastic product, as soon as we walked in the showroom, we were greeted and offered a hot drink as we browsed, we werent jumped on like other places, always available if we had any questions. First bed we saw we brought, was given a demo of the product and then left alone. Would definitely return a third time
