About the Hybrid Pro 2300 Mattress
Last checked
The Hybrid Pro 2300 is a 28cm pocket-sprung and memory-foam mattress with a king-size spring count of 2300, a built-in pillow top and two additional memory-foam layers over polyester fillings. The build is foam-led, not wool-led. A 2300-count pocket unit is generous against entry pocket-sprung hybrids, especially where open-coil mattresses still appear in cheaper ranges, but the comfort story is less traditional-luxury than the Sleepeezee name might imply: pressure relief comes mainly from memory foam and polyester cushioning rather than natural fibres, latex or hand-tufted upholstery. The stated feel is medium, so the spring core should take the main load while the pillow top softens the first contact at shoulders and hips. At 28cm deep it has enough height to feel substantial without moving into the very deep hotel-style category, and the weights - 33kg for a double, 36kg for a king and 42kg for a super king - put it in the two-person-rotation bracket even though it does not need flipping. The no-turn design is convenient, but it is not care-free: the maker still tells owners to rotate it regularly, use a protector, allow settlement time and keep slat gaps to no more than 7.5cm, which is a practical warning that the foam-and-pillow-top surface needs even support beneath it.
Memory foam over pocket springs makes most sense for side sleepers and mixed back/side sleepers who want cushioning without losing the independent response of a sprung core. Early owner accounts are broadly comfortable rather than detailed: the repeated product praise is better sleep and an immediately likeable feel, while the available lower-scoring feedback does not yet form a clear mattress-fault pattern, with one complaint sitting around service rather than support, heat or durability. Heat is the trade-off here. The knitted and woven cover may feel smooth, and the hypoallergenic synthetic build will appeal to those avoiding animal fibres, but two memory-foam layers plus a memory-foam pillow top will usually hold more warmth than wool, cotton or latex comfort layers in the £700-plus pocket-sprung tier. Couples get a sensible specification on paper: individual pockets reduce roll-together compared with open-coil mattresses, and foam helps damp partner movement, although there is no strong owner signal yet on edge firmness or how it behaves with a large weight difference. The medium feel is unlikely to suit heavier front sleepers who need a flatter, firmer surface through the hips, and very light sleepers may experience more surface hug than spring engagement. For average-weight side sleepers who want a cushioned, low-maintenance hybrid, this is the right call. For hot sleepers or heavier front sleepers, look at firmer natural-fibre pocket-sprung mattresses instead.

Specifications
Manufacturer specifications without the jargon, easy to scan and compare.
Firmness: Medium.
Requires turning: No.
Sizes: Single, small double, double, king, super king.
Mattress care: Air for 4 hours before using to remove any odour. Allow at least 4 hours for springs to settle and for mattress to attain its full size. Indentations caused by settlement of fillings or body weight are normal and are not considered defects. If used on a slatted bed frame, the space between slats must be no wider than 7.5 cm. Spaces wider than this may cause excess dipping of the mattress and invalidate the guarantee. Always use a mattress protector. Rotate regularly.

Very early day as yet, but very happy so far, with the comfort.
Very friendly experience, and we are loving the mattress, weren't very accommodating though when dealing with cash so a point dropped
We hav n't slept on it yet, still sorting out new curtains for the room.
