About the Verona Chair
Last checked
Anyone shopping the Verona through the sofa-bed range should read it as the companion armchair, not as sleeping kit in its own right. It is an upholstered lounge chair with a foam-padded seat and soft fabric, offered in easy-to-match colours, so the practical build story is comfort, finish and coordination rather than folding mechanics or overnight hardware. This is sitting-first furniture, plainly and simply. Against click-clack chairs and pull-out chair beds, that is an honest but conservative construction: foam padding can make a supportive seat for reading or evening television, but this product is an armchair rather than a mechanism-based spare bed, so regular sleep use is beyond the build’s job description. The manufacturer’s comfort claim is therefore best treated as seated comfort, not substitute-mattress comfort, and the customer praise lines up with that reading: the fabric is repeatedly described as soft, the seat as comfortable without feeling shapeless, and the overall look as smart enough to sit alongside the matching Verona sofa bed and footstool rather than as a compromise spare-bed item.
Households that already have, or are considering, the Verona sofa bed get the clearest use case here, because the chair seems to succeed as a matching everyday seat rather than as flexible guest accommodation. The strongest repeated signal is spaciousness for one person: buyers describe it as roomy enough to curl up in, firm enough to feel supportive and soft enough in fabric to feel cosy, with taupe in particular coming across as a safe, grown-up colour rather than a stark statement shade. A small practical note appears in one detailed comment, where felt pads made the chair easier to move across laminate flooring, but that should be treated as a room-specific workaround rather than a built-in mobility feature. No recurring fault theme sits alongside those positives; the sharper caveat comes from the spec itself, because a foam-padded armchair cannot offer the night-after-night spinal support or couple capacity expected from even basic pull-out sofa beds. It suits one sitter best. For a Verona sofa-bed owner wanting a coordinated curl-up chair, this is the right call. For overnight capacity or firmer daily back support, look at compact pull-out chair beds or a higher-spec sofa-bed tier instead.

Very comfortable chair with a classy look. Terrific quality and the soft fabric is a great touch.
We purchased this to match the sofa bed and footstool. Its really comfortable, firm but not too much. It feels a spacious chair, you can curl up in it. We got the taupe which is a lovely colour and is good quality. I recommend this chair and with felt pads on the bottom, despite its size is easy to move on laminate flooring.
The Verona chair compliments the sofa bed perfectly and helps create a full living space. Made from soft fabric its a perfect spot to get cosy.
